The Governing Body of Holy Spirit Primary School is seeking an experienced leader and teacher to join our happy and successful school.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, outstanding leader who has the skills and knowledge to to take on the role of Deputy Headteacher and join our highly committed team. The successful candidate must have the following:
- A desire to motivate and enthuse children, ensuring learning is fun and engaging
- The ability to inspire staff and communicate effectively, leading them in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with children who have SEND
- Commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for children
- Experience and understanding of school improvement
- Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
- A commitment to the Christian ethos of the school and inclusive nature

The Governors of this thriving and exciting joint church educational community, wish to appoint a highly motivated leader to continue driving forward the aspirations and expectations of the governors, dioceses, parents, pupils and the local community, well established in this faith-filled educational environment.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a practising member of the Anglican Church or a practising member of the Roman Catholic Church with a strong personal faith, who will extend and maintain the joint church ethos of the school and reach out to the wider community;
• Has an empathy with and understanding of the challenge that family life brings today and a determination to achieve the best for every pupil and their family;
• Can demonstrate strong, effective leadership and management, interpersonal skills, inspiring a motivation in staff and pupils and a real excitement for learning;
• Is able to lead and develop the curriculum from EYFS to Year 6
• Recognises the local community as an important partner and is committed to developing life-long learning and self-motivation in that community
