Deputy Headteacher job summary
The Governors wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Deputy Head Teacher to share in the leadership and management of our school in order to secure high quality outcomes for all our children. Linchfield is a school with enormous potential, committed staff and great children. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring or existing Deputy Head teacher to help realise the ambitious vision of the school and to ensure that teaching is innovative, engaging and enjoyable and of the highest quality. We are looking for an experienced practitioner to support, motivate, lead and have the desire to make a difference. The role includes a 0.5 teaching commitment.

• Is able to manage and co-ordinate assessment, data analysis and take responsibility for aspects of the school development plan and self-evaluation document to drive school improvement
• Has the ability to think and act strategically
• Is an inspirational, talented and enthusiastic teacher who can help to develop and realise the school's aims and vision
• Will promote the values of the school and high standards
• Can manage all aspects of an expanding and complex school
• Can work in close partnership with the Head Teacher, staff, Governors, children and parents

Linchfield Community Primary School caters for children between the ages of 3 to 11. We are a two-form entry school (60 children per year group) and can take up to 420 children. We also have a nursery provision attached.
