Involvement in curriculum development in a school

Evidence of coaching and supporting staff to strengthen the teaching profile in school

Willingness to undertake DSL training for the role

An understanding of the role of the governors

Skills & Abilities

An excellent understanding of theory and best practice in teaching and learning, particularly in relation to sustaining learning.

Ability to form and maintain excellent relationships with children which enhance their learning and emotional well being

Managing people and resources

Experience of interpreting and using assessment data to raise achievement
