Deputy Headteacher
Working with the School Improvement Team, across Matrix schools
Start: September 2024
Salary: L18-L22 (£71,729 - £79,111)
We want an experienced Deputy Headteacher who is ready for their next challenge. We want someone who can work in a range of contexts while also getting stuck in with leading particular schools for periods of time when needed.
This may be a great opportunity for you if you have set your sights on becoming a headteacher and are seeking to broaden and deepen your skillset. Whatever your current specialism – pastoral or curriculum - you will implement research-informed approaches to drive improvements and use your emotional intelligence to take staff with you.
As this is such unique role, we recommend you have a chat with our Director of School Improvement if you’re interested in applying. Please contact David Lowbridge-Ellis dlowbridgeellis@matrixacademytrust.co.uk
What the school offers its staff
Our School Improvement Team has an excellent track record of making significant and sustained improvements to schools in a variety of circumstances. You can view the rest of the team here: https://matrixacademytrust.co.uk/meetsit/
Our trust’s bottom line is this: if it would not be good enough for a member of our own family then it is not good enough for our pupils.
We want the best for every child regardless of where they were born, how much money they do or don’t have and who they are. If you share our relentless drive for school improvement, we would love to hear from you. We want people who will not only grow the next generation but people who are also eager to take every opportunity to grow themselves through our excellent professional development opportunities.
