Newton Leys Primary School and Nursery is looking to appoint a Deputy Head!
Newton
Leys Primary School and Nursery is now in its seventh year, we are a three form
entry, mixed primary school with 590 pupils on roll, serving the community of Newton
Leys and surrounding areas to the south of Milton Keynes. We are passionate
about teaching and learning and creating a culture of making a difference for
each and every child, where happy, enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious
children have the opportunity to achieve their own potential. We place a huge
emphasis on the ‘traditional values’ of manners, good behaviour, and excellent
communication skills. Relationships here are warm, nurturing and supportive and
there is a real sense of excitement, love and laughter at every level, which
pervades the whole school.
We
are now seeking to appoint an exceptional leader to work in partnership with
our Headteacher and senior staff team to build on the existing success of the
school and lead the school into its next chapter.
The ideal candidate will also:

You should be an inspirational leader with a strong commitment to raising attainment and taking our school on its journey from Good to Outstanding. You will combine a vision and energy for children’s education with the focus and drive needed for whole school improvement.
