What the school offers its staff

We are a successful federation of Infant and Junior Schools with 497 very special reasons why you would want to make a positive difference to our whole school family. With both schools having received ‘good’ ratings by OFSTED in the Autumn term of 2022, this is a great time to join our thriving federation.

North Walsham is a small market town in North Norfolk, just 12 miles from Norwich with good train and bus links to the city. We have extensive grounds and the two schools are physically joined. There is a strong sense of teamwork and our staff work closely together across the federation with many shared roles.

We can offer:

  • Well-behaved, polite and hard-working children who love their schools

  • Individualised professional development and career enhancement opportunities through the Trust’s Professional Studies Hub

  • A supportive wellbeing package, including access to GP appointments as well as other therapeutic services

  • No regular timetabled teaching commitment

  • Staff, parents, governors and trustees who are supportive, friendly and devoted to making the federation the best it can be;

Further details about the role

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and resilient leader to work in partnership with the Executive Headteacher and wider team, to build on our successes and drive the schools forward in their future development and growth.

The recruitment for this position is vitally important to get right. We are looking for someone who is prepared to work hard and go the extra mile for the one thing that matters the most, our children.

Commitment to safeguarding

This Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
