Deputy Headteacher of Pastoral & Inclusion – ATAM Academy job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a colleague to join the senior leadership team at ATAM Academy by becoming the Deputy Headteacher of Inclusion. This leadership role will secure exceptional provision for students with additional needs, design, develop, publicise and promote the ethos, structures and systems to achieve this goal.
We are looking for someone who can lead this area of our work with kindness, warmth and dynamism, but also with total clarity, relentless consistency and a refusal to accept anything other than the very highest possible standards.
The successful candidate will play a major role under the overall direction of the Executive Headteacher who will be empowered to improve policy, process and practice in Inclusion and SEND.
We are looking for someone who has a proven ability in strategic thinking and outstanding academic leadership, ensuring the Academy continues to provide high quality education for all our children in a caring, inclusive environment. The successful candidate will have experience at senior leadership level.
This post will enhance the senior leadership team of the academy and will take a lead role in all aspects of school improvement related to Inclusion and SEND. The post will include a teaching commitment commensurate to the role.
