Deputy Headteacher job summary
The governors of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to work as a key member of our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a committed and practising Catholic and an excellent practitioner who leads by example. They will have an integral part in leading the vision, ethos and school policies to ensure effective teaching and successful learning.
We would like to work with someone who:
• is a practising Catholic and committed to supporting the vision and ethos of a Catholic School
• is able to take an active role in the leadership and management of the school alongside the Headteacher
• has the skills, energy, drive and passion required to secure the very best outcomes for all our pupils
• will lead by example through outstanding and creative teaching which will motivate and inspire colleagues in all aspects of teaching and learning
• can coach and mentor effectively
• is innovative and forward thinking
• is reflective and focused on all children, with high expectations of their learning and behaviour
• can monitor rigorously and systematically for the progression of knowledge and skills throughout the curriculum
