Our federation consists of three vibrant, high achieving, creative and supportive schools situated within a four mile radius of each other. All three schools are led by an Executive Headteacher.

The Federation is seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher (Primary) to work collaboratively with the Executive Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors to support the development of our Federation Schools. The successful candidate will lead across both Broadlands and Withington Primary Schools and work directly with the Executive Headteacher and each of the two Heads of Learning in each school.
The Federation currently comprises one secondary school (Aylestone) and two primary schools (Broadlands and Withington). Broadlands is a single form entry school and Withington has mixed classes comprising of two year groups each. The postholder will work across both primary schools in support of the Executive Headteacher.
The ideal candidate will have strong strategic leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and co-ordinating effective and innovative practice, including quality assurance and self-evaluation.
