St Barnabas and St Philip’s Church of England Primary School is a popular one-form-entry primary school located in the heart of Kensington. Following a period of interim leadership, we are looking for an innovative, and enthusiastic senior leader to join our staff team. From September, a new Headteacher has been appointed and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a strong new senior leadership team, where you will have the chance to make a significant difference to the school and its community.
In October 2021 we were inspected by Ofsted and received a Requires Improvement grade, after over 14 years of remaining at Outstanding status. While the judgement came as a disappointment to the school community, governors and senior leaders are determined to address the key points raised in the report and as such have already formed a partnership with an experienced external school improvement partner to bring the school back to an Outstanding status.
Our new Deputy Headteacher will work alongside our Headteacher on planning and delivering our school improvement priorities, focusing the school’s vision. The successful applicant will also support the design and delivery of our curriculum, ensuring it is suitably challenging for pupils at all levels and able to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Arranging a visit to St Barnabas and St Philip's CofE Primary School
