The Governing Board of St. Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery is seeking to employ a dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to work in partnership with the Headteacher in the management, leadership and development of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated and committed leadership team.

We take pride in our children who leave our school fully able to live out the teachings of Jesus in their community and wider world, so that they may be brave and ambitious in the lives that they choose to lead.

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who is also a determined and ambitious leader, with the vision and the skills to work alongside the Headteacher to continue improving standards of learning and teaching for all children.

You must have significant experience and knowledge of education and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of how to achieve the best outcomes for children through a proven track record of raising standards.

As Deputy Headteacher you will be expected to lead by example and inspire others, whilst providing challenge, rigour and strategic direction.
St. Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery is at the heart of the local community with beautiful grounds. It is a nurturing school which is filled with happy children who love coming to school. We make use of our strong parish links and provide experiences beyond the school day for our children.
