Deputy Headteacher job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Deputy Headteacher, who will work with the Headteacher to help lead us on our journey to be outstanding in all areas of school life.
We invite applications from suitably qualified and highly committed classroom practitioners with leadership experience who are practising Catholics with proven management skills and a clear vision for Catholic Education. The successful applicant will join a Senior Leadership Team who will be instrumental in shaping the future of the school, guided by our Mission.
We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher who will:
- be immediately responsible to and work with our Headteacher
- inspire, challenge and motivate staff, in order to maintain and develop the best teaching and learning
- bring experience of focused, successful and sustained school improvement
- work closely with our governing body in the assessment, monitoring and evaluation of pupils’ progress, attainment and wellbeing
- be a committed member of the Senior Leadership Team of our Trust.
- work collaboratively with the Trust team, local and Diocesan heads to ensure high standards of attainment and to sustain and develop the school’s Catholic Ethos.
