About the role

Due to the promotion of our current Deputy to Headteacher, we are looking for someone to support the school in its journey of continuous improvement. We believe this is an excellent opportunity for both aspiring and experienced deputy headteachers looking for a new challenge to really make their mark in a supportive and nurturing environment. The role will include a 0.5 teaching commitment across the school.

Salary:£ 49781 to £56316

Grade:L1 – L6

Contract Type: Permanent Contract

Are you a passionate teacher or leader who would like to develop your role in a school dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all? Studley St Mary’s are looking for an exceptional classroom practitioner who is able to support in the strategic and logistical leadership of the school. The role will include a 0.5 teaching commitment across the school.

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:

Has a proven track record of improving outcomes for pupils.

Has good behaviour management strategies.

Has strong pedagogical knowledge and shows an interest in current educational research

Is able to inspire others to make positive, lasting changes

Is able to reflect and see solutions in daily teaching, in own practice and that of the team.

Can use their initiative to solve problems and support others in doing this.
