Deputy Headteacher (teaching) job summary
We are looking for a full time Deputy Head with teaching responsibility to join our vibrant Church School Community on its school improvement journey from September 2020 or earlier
Candidates should have:
o Qualified teacher status
o A Degree
o Undertaken some Professional development in preparation for a leadership role
o Successful leadership and management experience in a school
o Effective Teaching experience
o Involvement in school self-evaluation and development planning
o Line management experience
o Experience of contributing to staff development
o Experience of working at a whole-school level
o Experience of conducting training/leading INSET
o Willingness to support the Christian ethos of the school and The Diocese of Chelmsford Vine Schools Trust of 23 schools providing many opportunities for personal and professional development within a Church School context
