What skills and experience we're looking for

For September 2023, we are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher (Teaching and Learning). The successful candidate will have a strong educational background to help lead us to even greater success in all areas of school life, with a particular focus on leading the development and implementation of the school’s learning and teaching strategy. Other whole school responsibilities include; responsibility for ensuring the provision of high-quality cover for absent teachers, leadership of all internal and external examinations, leading the annual school plan for continuing professional development, and an overview for teacher training programmes and the school’s ECT programme. The ideal candidate will be able to offer dynamic and motivational leadership for the school to deliver its objectives. You will be supported by colleagues in a very capable and experienced Senior Leadership Team.
