Further details about the role

This is a truly exciting time for The Oaks and a unique opportunity for you to join us as we develop and embed a dynamic new Senior Leadership Team. A team that will focus on the delivery of a truly exceptional educational experience for all members of the school community, staff, children and parents alike.

In addition to working in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team on the strategic leadership of the school you will need to be a ‘doer’, someone who can roll up their sleeves and make change happen on the ground on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be fully involved in the leadership of the school and will have specific responsibility for leading on teaching and learning, the curriculum and assessment.

We understand that choosing the right school for your own personal and career development is one of the most important decisions you can make. And at The Oaks we aim to meet and exceed your expectations of what a school can offer in terms of career development, personal growth, sustained well being and ability to have a positive impact on children’s lives.

Working for TKAT:

In return, as an employee of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT), you will benefit from: A wide variety of opportunities for professional development, including the potential to develop your career at more than one TKAT academy; opportunities to work flexibly, where possible; our support for your wellbeing at work and the rewards of working to improve the life chances of our pupils.

Commitment to safeguarding

TKAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment will be subject to the full Safer Recruitment process, including an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
