Following the promotion of our Deputy Headteacher to Headship, we are excited to be recruiting a highly skilled, committed and experienced Deputy Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team in a non-teaching capacity. We are a welcoming, inclusive school community with great children and set in the wonderful Suffolk countryside with extensive grounds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to gain further experience towards headship.
The successful applicant will:
Contribute to strategic and operational decision making in order to establish the vision, ethos and policies of the school;
Support the Headteacher in developing, monitoring and evaluating the curriculum;
Strategic Lead in English, responsible for the quality of teaching and learning in Reading and Writing;
Have agreed whole school areas of responsibility, including overseeing the delivery of the wider curriculum, supporting subject leaders in leading and monitoring their subjects effectively.
