What skills and experience we're looking for
Able to inspire and motivate students to develop their full potential
Have a proven track record of innovative, collaborative and successful leadership
Able to demonstrate impact as a teacher, a middle leader and a senior leader
Excellent knowledge of Safeguarding and outside agencies
Able to accept autonomy and operate professionally, maintaining the trust of colleagues
Experience of improving standards of attendance, behaviour and engagement of students
Commitment and positivity for removing barriers to learning
Experience of working with Governors and/or other professional bodies
Experience of working in a similar school setting
Able to enthuse and motivate and lead staff
The ability to team build
Evidence of leading initiatives to successful outcomes
The ability to understand the need for confidentiality
Approachable and emotionally intelligent
Able to set targets, meet deadlines and to work under pressure
Good presentational skills and public speaking
Willing to contribute to extra-curricular activities
A sense of humour
A desire to move onto Headship after a period of time as a Deputy
An imaginative and creative thinker capable of delivering solutions
