We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated leader from who will lead a team of committed professionals.
The successful candidate will have expertise in the leading of learning of students with a broad range of complex and profound learning needs and significant experience in the leading of teaching to maximise opportunities for all.
The above position offers an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity to be part of the continuing development of our special school which currently caters for 56 fantastic students aged 11-18 who have a wide range of complex learning needs, PMLD, SLD, ASD and complex learning difficulties.

Essential educational requirements
National Professional Qualification of Headship (NPQH) Desirable
Further qualification in a related area e.g. MEd, MA, MBA Desirable
Qualified Teacher Status
Essential skills and experience
At least 3 years senior leadership experience in a special needs provision. Desirable
Experience of working with students with a range of type and degree of SEN
Successful teaching experience within a special needs setting
Experience of supporting students with social and emotional difficulties
Experience of being a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
