This role will see you working closely with the Leader of Year and Assistant Leader of Year in supporting individuals/groups of students. In summary the role is to:

• Deputise for Leader of Year
• Support raising achievement, standards and attendance / punctuality
• Support, monitor and track achievement of sub-groups (pupil premium etc.)
• Support with year group priorities such as parental support and information, assemblies and to support mentoring programmes

The successful candidate will be:

• Enthusiastic, flexible, and resilient
• Determined to “make a difference” in young people’s lives
• Ambitious for students and for themselves
• A reflective practitioner, always striving to be the ‘best they can be’

Being able to teach a core subject would be desirable.
