We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our school-based nursery.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A hands-on leader, confident in guiding, supporting, and inspiring a dedicated nursery team.
  • Able to support apprentices and nurture professional growth across the setting.
  • Ready to work closely with our Trust Nursery Operations Leader and Early Years Lead to ensure children receive the best possible start in their learning journey.
  • Committed to helping children become school ready for entry into Reception, driving our vision for a strong start at Manor Drive Primary Academy.
  • Motivated to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across the nursery.
  • Passionate about early years education and child development, with a deep understanding of how young children learn best.
  • Responsive, loyal and a great team player, able to build strong relationships with children, staff and families.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and socially skilful, with a passion for creating a nurturing and inspiring early years environment.
  • Consistent, thorough and thoughtful, ensuring high standards of care, learning and safeguarding are always maintained.

The Manor Drive Primary Academy is a new school in the north of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The school welcomed the first cohort of Reception children in September 2022 and we continue to grow year on year. At Manor Drive Primary Academy we pride ourselves on having a strong wellbeing ethos whilst ensuring our children are the focus of everything we do.
