The Role
The Deputy Principal will be responsible for working with and supporting the Principal to provide professional leadership of Welbourne Primary Academy. They will take a major role in:
· Formulating the aims and objectives of the school
· Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives
· Managing staff and resources to that end
· Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school’s aim and objectives
The Person
We are seeking a Deputy Principal who:
Has the leadership and drive to help lead our school with passion, raising standards where required, but recognising and maintaining excellence where it is already in place.
Has effective and proven management skills with a track record of raising achievements and improving standards.
Possesses excellent communication skills with a firm commitment to working in partnership with children, staff, governors, families and the wider community.
Is passionate about education and learning and can inspire and motivate the school community.
Can demonstrate a commitment to the principles of inclusion, equality and diversity for all.
