Design and Marketing Assistant job summary
Are you a recent graduate or looking to take the next step in your design and marketing career? Do you have a passion for graphic design and digital marketing?
We are seeking a friendly, creative, and detail-oriented Design and Marketing Assistant, initially on a one-year fixed term contract, to join our team, supporting our marketing, design, and communications across the Trust. Working collaboratively with the wider SEEAT team and schools, you will help promote our schools through engaging visual and written content across digital and print platforms.
Your key responsibilities will be to develop and produce graphics for print and digital media, create visually engaging content for social media, newsletters, and websites and manage the design, production, and distribution of promotional materials including brochures, banners and event materials. You will help schools to capture key moments with high-quality photos and videos to enhance our marketing materials and coordinate our social media accounts, creating, scheduling, and monitoring content.
You will work closely with senior leaders to contribute to newsletters, press releases, and website content - collecting stories that highlight our schools' achievements and supporting communication with parents, staff, and the community.
You will have a qualification in Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field and be proficient using Office365, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media and digital marketing tools. Your excellent communication and organisational skills, proactive approach, and the ability to work both independently and in a team will make you a key member of our central team. If you're eager to grow your career in a supportive environment, whilst making a positive impact to schools in the local area we'd love to hear from you.
The post is advertised as full time and based at The Deanes, however the nature of the role means that travel to all SEEAT schools should be expected so the successful postholder must have the ability to travel between all eight of our schools, ideally with a full UK driving licence. However, we can be flexible with working hours, part time working arrangements and hybrid working.
To find out more about the benefits of working for SEEAT please visit our Trust website and for more details on the Trust and this role please view the electronic recruitment pack.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
