Frome College Design Technology department is a growing department with great opportunities for personal development and input into current schemes of work. We aim to drive innovation with our current staff offering expertise from different aspects of industry. It is a spacious, well-resourced, busy, purposeful department which has two technicians across all subject areas. We also encourage students to progress into our expanding sixth form to study A Levels in Product Design, Fashion/Textiles or Level 3 Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition.
The department is housed in a large spacious self-contained, purpose-built facility, comprising a well-equipped multimedia workshop, display area, ICT suite with networked computers.
