The Douay Martyrs Catholic Secondary School are currently recruiting for a dynamic Teacher of Design and Technology to join our welcoming and successful school. We are looking to appoint a teacher who is motivated to teach engaging lessons that help students gain a love of Design and Technology.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to develop, plan and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences to all students.
• Be a newly qualified or experienced teacher who is enthusiastic, influential and committed to working in pursuit of success for the school academy and its learners.
• Be a passionate believer in DT education.
• Be able to teach across a range of Material areas, especially Graphics.
• Have a solid understanding of the KS4 curriculum and the ability to prepare students thoroughly to perform strongly on all aspects of the GCSE course.
• The ability to teach A level would be an advantage.
