We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Design and Technology teacher to teach food and textiles across the full ability range at Key Stages 3 and 4. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject are essential. In addition, we would welcome applicants who have the ability to teach KS4 child development or a similar course.

This is a part-time position, starting in September 2022 and is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced Design and Technology teacher or a newly qualified Design and Technology teacher, to join our friendly and rapidly improving school in Barnstaple.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher and will have the advantage of working alongside our highly committed, professional and dedicated team excellent support packages for NQTs and new staff, outstanding opportunities for CPD.

You must have high expectations of yourself, your colleagues and your students and be committed to creating a stimulating learning environment which challenges everyone to achieve the highest standards. You must be highly organised, with the ability to establish effective learning opportunities and deliver outstanding lessons; encouraging our students to be the best they can.
