Post Title: Design and Technology Technician

Salary: £19,000 - £22,000 Full Time Equivalent

£8,789 - £10,177 (actual salary)

Hours: 0.5FTE 8am – 4pm, 2.5 days per week

Contract: Term time 3 weeks

Responsible to: Curriculum Leader for Technology

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Design and Technology Technician to coordinate the use of practical resources and facilities and provide assistance and advice in the practical needs of the Design and Technology curriculum, including liaising with teaching staff and support staff outside the department. To ensure that Risk Assessments are routinely produced for all practical activities.

We are rated as a Good provider of education by Ofsted and the Academy is maintaining this significant progress with solid foundations in teaching and learning; aiming to achieve even more highly for the future.
