Design And Technology Technician job summary
Required as soon as possible we are seeking to appoint a resourceful and efficient technician to join our Design and Technology department. We are looking to recruit a passionate individual who is committed to delivering high quality support to staff and students within the department. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in maintaining and working with a range of engineering/carpentry machines. It would also be a distinct advantage for the successful candidate to have an interest in making small jigs and exemplar that would help the students when in the workshops.
The successful candidate should be suitably qualified with an NVQ level 3 in technical support or have equivalent experience, be willing to provide first aid as required within the department and have excellent practical skills.

The Ilfracombe Academy is an 11-18 Church of England Academy, with approximately 1100 students on a rising roll, including an expanding Sixth Form.
