We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Design and Technology Technician at The Latymer School, required as soon as possible. You should be highly organised with good interpersonal skills and previous experience of working in a similar role or setting.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to work in an encouraging and supportive manner with pupils.
- Ordering and preparing material for schemes of work.
- Order, maintain and prepare tools and equipment across a range of Design and Technology specialisms.
- Maintain, arrange repairs, demonstrate and supervise the use of workshop machinery.
- Ensure relevant Health & Safety regulations are implemented and adhered to and manage risk assessments as necessary.
The school provides a range of well-being activities, such as circuits, Pilates and facilities including good transport links, free parking, a cycle to work scheme, use of the fitness suite and even massages by a qualified masseuse. The school also runs a number of national and international trips, and we even have our own residential centre in a beautiful part of North Wales which staff also use. We value our staff and the importance of maintaining a healthy work life balance.
