We are looking for a creative, innovative Engineering/ Product Design /D&T specialist to join our Design Technology Department.
Teaching pupils through KS3 & 4, you will be based in one of our dedicated, well-equipped DT rooms. We currently deliver AQA GCSE Design & Technology at KS4 though we are currently reviewing the curriculum for 2020/21.
Our Design Technology Department also delivers Food and Textiles Technology, both of which are based in a modern, purpose-built Technology Block.
Essential educational requirements
Applications welcome from experienced Engineering/ Product Design /D&T teachers with a track record of teaching consistently good and outstanding lessons and achieving strong Progress 8 scores, or from potential NQTs who are making encouraging progress in their training.
We have an NQT induction programme which is considered to be an exemplar of good practice. This is an excellent place for an outstanding Resistant Materials/D&T Teacher to develop their career.
Relevant degree and secondary QTS.
