What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you ambitious? Do you want to work in a dynamic 11-16 school?

We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher of Design Technology who is confident in their subject knowledge and is able to motivate and enthuse students. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a progressive Design and Technology department and create outstanding learning opportunities. We are seeking a full time Design and Technology teacher to help deliver the new AQA DT specification including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Textiles and possibly some KS3 Art or Food. The successful candidate will be proactive and will actively look for opportunities to engage the natural inquisitiveness of our learners and be committed to supporting existing extra-curricular activities including our Greenpower car club. Candidates should be able to enthuse pupils and contribute positively to help develop the curriculum provision offered by the team.
