Design Technology Technician job summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to work in the Perins Design and Technology Department as a Technician, to provide practical classroom support for students and teachers.
Under the instruction of the Senior Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation of resources for lessons and to support and assist students in the classroom with the completion of project work. A moderate degree of physical effort is involved in preparing the classroom and equipment and maintaining rooms – specifically moving and handling heavy items.
The Technology department has recently had a refurbishment and has new kitchens and workshops.

The role is 35 hours per week, based at Perins School. The individual needs to be available throughout the whole of the school day and ideally will need to be available to work from 0800.
