Design Technology job summary

We are seeking to appoint a talented, energetic and inspiring Teacher of Design Technology.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students and the commitment to raise attainment and achievement in Design Technology/Engineering/Product Design. They will be able to inspire colleagues and students and offer fresh ideas, as well as being resourceful and keen to achieve the highest possible standards for our young people.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a secure understanding about how disadvantaged students in Design Technology and beyond, can make significant progress.

The STE department at Wednesfield High School is highly ambitious, recruiting well at Post-16. The post would be ideal for anyone with ambition, drive and passion who wants to work with a committed team of professional staff. The Academy is committed to high quality professional development, supporting staff to take the next steps in their professional career.
