Designated Safeguarding Lead job summary

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join our team at Pix Brook Academy. This pivotal role involves taking overall responsibility for leading and managing all aspects of safeguarding and child protection within our school community. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for the wellbeing of all pupils, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential, while also leading staff training and liaising with external agencies.

This is a term time, plus 10 days position (also x5 training/inset days) - Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week.
