Aldermoor Farm Primary School, a large, diverse and vibrant primary school, is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lunchtime Assistant.
This role is integral to our school's ethos of inspiring every child to flourish into confident, successful and well-rounded learners.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality support and fostering a positive environment for our children. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a range of skills:
- the ability to build effective relationships with children
- excellent communication skills
- use their initiative and be a flexible team player
- have a strong and focused work ethic
We seek someone with strong communication skills and a friendly, positive nature who will bring compassion and a hard-working ethos to the team. First aid training is a plus as is previous school experience, however, these are not a requirement.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre employment check with effect 1 Sept 22, please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
