About Us
The Harbour School is a forward-thinking alternative provision school dedicated to supporting students with a range of SEMH needs. We provide a safe and nurturing learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to grow, achieve, and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of a high-quality, inclusive curriculum tailored to the needs of students with SEMH.
- Ensure the curriculum is engaging, ambitious, and provides clear pathways for student success.
- Oversee and refine data and assessment processes, ensuring accurate tracking of student progress and using insights to drive improvement.
- Work collaboratively with staff to develop and implement high-impact teaching and learning strategies.
- Embed a culture of high expectations, ensuring outstanding learning experiences for all students.
- Provide professional development and support to staff in curriculum planning, assessment, and data analysis.
- Use evidence-based approaches to continuously enhance teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with at least 5 years current teaching experience
- A strategic and innovative curriculum leader, ideally with experience in alternative provision, SEMH, or SEND settings.
- A strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment, and data-driven school improvement.
- The ability to inspire and develop staff, fostering a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
- A commitment to ensuring that every student, regardless of their background or challenges, has access to a high-quality education.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
