We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of French to join our school leadership team and drive the success of language within the Faculty. In collaboration with colleagues, you will lead the French department to deliver outstanding teaching to every child, in every classroom, every day.

You are somebody who can:

* Lead a team of teachers to deliver a high-quality educational provision within the Faculty.
* Set and uphold the highest standards for progress, attainment, teaching, and learning across the Faculty.
* Foster a positive, professional, proactive, and creative environment for staff and students alike.
* Take direct accountability for student outcomes, teaching quality, and learning standards.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and resource allocation.

You are somebody who:

* Is an experienced (or aspirational) inspirational leader with a proven track record of raising standards in education.
* Has a deep understanding of curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and data-driven improvement strategies.
* Demonstrates excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
* Possesses the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team of educators.
* Holds a degree in Education or subject-specific area, and QTS.
