Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of PE who is ready to make the transition to their first curriculum leadership role, or a previous curriculum leader in PE who would like to have more autonomy for their department and a wider impact across a school.
The successful candidate will share the school’s vision and the belief that all young people should be able to enjoy a life of choice and opportunity and be committed to ensuring that every child can achieve their full potential.
Within a small school context, the person successful in this role will lead a small department, managing the teaching of Physical Education across KS1-KS4, with the possibility in the future of launching a KS5 qualification subject to pupil interest.
This is an exciting opportunity as the successful candidate will have creative control of the curriculum and extra-curricular offer for Health and Well-Being, as well as overseeing our Food Technology curriculum.
