Job summary

At Delta Academies Trust, our mission is “improving lives”. If you share our values and are proud of a job well done, collaborative in working well with others and ambitious to make things better, then we would like to hear from you.

We are currently looking to appoint a Director of ICT to join our friendly team based at our Head Office in Knottingley, West Yorkshire, as soon as possible on a permanent and full-time basis. We are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it is important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

As the Director of ICT, you will report directly to the Chief Finance & Operations Officer (CFOO). You will be responsible for managing and directing ICT operations across the Trust and providing leadership and technical advice to the ICT team. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with third parties to ensure cost efficiencies and savings where possible. Your key day to day responsibility will be to manage the overall ICT team, ensuring our academies are supported, contracts are managed, data is analysed and ensure that relationships within our Trust and with other Trusts/schools are maintained and developed to ensure students and staff can benefit from outstanding ICT systems and provision.

You will operate primarily from Head Office, as well as visiting the academies on a periodic/priority basis so the ability to travel and work across the Trust is essential.
