The Wavell School is a successful Specialist College. The IT Faculty is recognised beyond the County for its achievements, and student attainment puts us in the top 6 in Hampshire.
The successful candidate would lead an effective, hardworking and established IT Team. It is essential that the appointed teacher has a strong working knowledge of IT and Computing and can inspire our students to further their achievement.
The position of Head of IT and Computing requires an experienced teacher with proven leadership capabilities, who has an enthusiasm and commitment to this subject and a desire to engage all students in this core subject. They will lead by example and be an outstanding subject teacher promoting the highest standards across the Faculty.
The School would welcome applications from committed dynamic specialist teachers who enjoy working within a collegial Faculty and who can build on current successes leading the Faculty forward.
