Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Batley Grammar School, Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Manorfield Infant and Nursery School and Upper Batley High School. We provide high quality education for all young people. This collaboration enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence throughout all of our schools, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.
Batley Grammar School is a “good school” (Ofsted Oct 2018) and we continue our school improvement journey to become an outstanding school. We aim to combine our traditional ethos and culture together with a modern approach to teaching and learning. We are seeking to appoint a well qualified and dynamic leader with a proven track record of raising standards to provide challenge rigour and strategic direction to an already successful faculty. The Communication Faculty consists of English and Languages (French and Spanish). The successful candidate should be an inspirational teacher, proud to be part of our school community, committed to the maintenance of high standards of behaviour for learning and contribute fully to the leadership of the school.
