We are currently looking to appoint a Director of Learning for Science to join us as soon as possible. We are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it is important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

As Director of Learning for Science you will provide pedagogic leadership as an outstanding classroom practitioner, playing a key part in raising standards through the model of their own excellent teaching and by supporting the professional development of their colleagues.

The post will involve development of science at academy level. This includes leadership development, working and supporting teachers across all year groups, enhancing the profile of science and effective ways to record science learning. Additionally, the post will involve development of science at Trust level and potentially beyond. This will involve writing schemes of work, continually refining, and improving Trust wide practice and delivering Trust wide CPD.

Salary: Leadership scale L5 – L9 (£46,566 - £51,402).
