What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to internal promotion, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Director of Learning with an infectious passion to lead our fantastic Science team.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to create and contribute and to innovate and build upon the exciting learning opportunities for our staff, our students and the community we serve.

You must be confident in the delivery of all areas at KS3 and hold a specialism at KS4. You must have the ambition and dedication to continue to support the development of the curriculum and the wider curriculum in line with current practice and research in effective teaching. You will be able to support the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. You will be passionate about your specialist subject and recognise the importance and impact that this area of the curriculum has on a student’s wider life and on their academic achievements. Your input will be invaluable and must aim to inspire students within and beyond the Science curriculum.
