About the role: Leigh Academy Blackheath continues to grow! As we prepare to move into our third year, we are now looking for a number of inspiring individuals to join our teaching team in September 2020, when we welcome our third cohort of Year 7 students. Leigh Academy Blackheath is a place where tradition meets innovation and the potential of staff and students is realised within a nurturing community. If you want to join a highly successful team who are passionate about research-informed education, and you can inspire learners to go beyond what they are taught and seek what they do not yet know, then we want to hear from you.
Leigh Academy Blackheath are seeking to appoint a Director of Learning for Science - the department has been led by an experienced and highly successful leader who has made a real impact within the department and wider school. This role allows an exceptional Science practitioner to move into a leadership role with strong foundations already in place but with the scope to put their own stamp on it, and receive fantastic support and CPD opportunities across the academy and wider Trust.
Interviews will be conducted throughout March 2020 with appointments made for various teaching subjects on a rolling basis.
