We are looking to appoint an outstanding Director of Learning Support, to be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the SEN policy, who will be mentored and supported by an experienced SENCO, who has responsibility for the strategy. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Special Educational Needs and be able to motivate students through inspirational teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher to join a thriving school and work with students who are keen to learn. The ability to teach A-Level would be desirable. There will be a reduced teaching commitment with this post and we invite applications from candidates of all disciplines.
Essential educational requirements
An honours degree (or equivalent) in a subject or discipline relevant to the post.
Qualified Teacher Status. (QTS)
Evidence of further professional studies/research.
Essential skills and experience
Proven success in delivering KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
Proven success in delivering KS5 curriculum.
