Director of Mathematics job summary
Turner Schools is offering an exciting and unique opportunity for an ambitious leader to further develop the mathematics provision at Folkestone Academy. The Director of Mathematics will help refine our trust-wide secondary curriculum and support the development of our maths teachers, to embed a passion for mathematics in our pupils and secure excellent outcomes. Our maths team consists of both experienced, expert teachers and talented, enthusiastic early careers teachers who have embraced working across trust through subject networks. The ability to continue to collaborate and maintain across Trust partnerships is an important part of this role. This is the ideal time to shape mathematics at Folkestone Academy and to support us to continue to create an environment where all children thrive and knowledge matters.

As Director of Mathematics, your role will require you to be an expert teacher who is capable of leading and inspiring colleagues and pupils with a proven track record of outcomes for pupils and an enthusiasm for research-informed education.
