Director of Mathematics job summary

We are looking to appoint a Director of Mathematics to provide exceptional leadership of this important area of our work across our secondary provision.

This is an exciting, first-time post and the successful candidate will work with Heads of Department and their teams in our two secondary schools to build on the Trust’s quality of teaching and learning, agree on best practices and then work together to make our approaches world class.

Overall, we’re looking for a Director of Mathematics whose leadership in this area ensures that our pupils receive the very best experience in teaching and learning in every classroom, so that each one of them can achieve exceptional outcomes.

The successful candidate will report directly to, and work closely with the Chief Executive and will be a key member of the Trust’s Executive Team.

This role would be ideal for an experienced, credible and inspiring Head of Mathematics who has a great track record and the drive and determination to lead improvements across our small but growing Trust.
