Director of Maths job summary

As Director of Maths, you will help maintain the ethos of the school by driving our organisational culture and drive. You will be responsible for:

  • Raising standards of progress and attainment in mathematics so that students make excellent levels of progress and increase the numbers making outstanding progress in this subject
  • Providing strong leadership that results in a mathematics team which provides first class teaching and learning opportunities for students and staff
  • Instigate and develop an innovative approach to mathematics that will stimulate all students to achieve their potential, including the most able and most disadvantaged students

About You

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional Maths Teacher with experience teaching KS3 and KS4, as well as a background in managing or leading a high-performing team. They will have a demonstrated history of improving student progress and raising attainment and be skilled in creating and delivering an ambitious Maths curriculum.
