What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages, Head of Department to join our growing school. The ability to teach French is essential.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and teaching of French and Spanish across the school. A key element involves liaising with the Senior Leadership Team on the development of the department and the overall curriculum. As the Head of Department, you will have the opportunity to facilitate and lead MFL as well as organise trips.

Your role:

• Stretch and challenge students' abilities
• Accountable for learning and achievements of students across the academy
• Motivate staff- leading by example
• Abide by Academy's procedures regarding recording, monitoring, analysing data
