What skills and experience we're looking for

Required for September 2023, we are seeking a permanent full-time Director for Primary Education to support the development of primary provision as part of the high performing Bohunt Education Trust (BET).

Due to the successful growth of this Trust and further planned growth into primary phase provision, BET is seeking to appoint a Director for Primary Education, with specific responsibility for the development of the school improvement strategy for primary schools. This is a new role within the Trust.

You will work with the Board of Trustees, the CEO, Headteachers’ Group and Trust Central Team to develop a nurturing, engaging and ambitious primary provision. Our schools are based around the South of England: Berkshire, Hampshire and West Sussex.

The ideal candidate will be an outstanding leader with the ability to listen to others, think strategically and empower people to support the development of schools whilst respecting their individual identities. Relationships and well-being are critical to this partnership, and the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, acting always with integrity and ensuring that staff and children/students remain at the heart of their role.
